Gill Hunter

Gill brings 35 years’ experience in the financial services industry to the Fitzallan team, and has been an Independent Financial Adviser for the last 28 of them. Before joining Fitzallan, Gill was a Senior Manager within Grant Thornton’s national accountancy practice where she advised ‘high net worth’ individuals for 11 years.

Gill is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute (ACII) and, like all Fitzallan advisers, she is a Chartered Financial Planner. Her enthusiasm for guiding her clients through the complex and changing world of investments, pensions and tax as they work towards their financial goals keeps Gill fully focused through her working week.

In her spare time Gill enjoys visits to the gym, occasionally babysitting a rather energetic Dalmatian and spending time working with Maggie’s, a cancer are centre in Glasgow, where she is the Chair of the fundraising board.  She is also a trustee of the Esin Foundation, which is a local charity set up to support females in further education, the arts, music and culture in Scotland and relief to those in need by reason of age, ill-health or disability.
